Lady’s pedigree consist of…..her sire Major League NTF who is out of Midas Touch NTF (out of Midas and Muschi), and Marietta of NTF (out of Sturmer and Marika). Her dam Luscious Lady FAH who is out of Michel of NTF (out of Milord and Sirena), and Lyris (out of Wandor and Liezal). Lady is very well put together. She has a lot of presence. Her appearance…..kind eye….. and LOVE for people all make her a very wonderful horse to be around. Her personality it to die for. She is incredibly friendly, nosey, curious and there couldn’t be anything more interesting than what you are doing. Lady’s purpose with us has been as a broodmare. She has no issues that would keep her from being a performance horse or even continuing to reproduce. She would make an excellent addition to any breeding program. Lady has always been extremely healthy and sound. She has had the easiest time in foaling and caring /providing for a foal. Lady’s undersaddle training has been very inconsistent and isn’t real advanced. She was started undersaddle as a three year old. She is schooled every now and again, usually more in the fall after her baby(s) were weaned. She knows all three gaits well. Most of her riding has been “pleasure” riding. She doesn’t have much time working on lateral movements, working on the bit, collecting, ect. Lady is quite forward for a Haflinger. She rides in front of the leg. She still needs lots of training in the way of balancing, bending, flexing, collection, and gaits can be mastered. She knows her leads, and has never had any issue with them. Her brakes work very well. She will listen to your seat in your transitions. Her movement is nice….she has the stride of a horse not a pony. She is like sitting in a recliner! There is plenty there to wrap your leg around. Lady has never had any behavioral issues under saddle. Her worse habit would be her trying to eat grass when in hand. The more she is handled the better this gets. She is extremely easy to catch in the field. Along with everything mentioned she knows all the basics of tying, standing for the farrier, bathing, and clipping.
