Fancy has had a wonderful temperment since she was born. This mare has a lot of personality, is curious and loves people. She is the horse that runs to the gate when she sees someone coming. Fancy has never shown any type of aggressive behavior. Her pleasant personality stays with her undersaddle. Fancy shows little to no temperament or physical change while she is in heat. Overall Fancy's behavior in hand is superb for a three year old. She is easy to handle, respects your space, and has a willing personality. Fancy is a dream for a trainer. It is always nice to have a horse that is well conformed, athletic, learns fast, and puts in 100% effort while maintaining a willing attitude.

Fancy is well balanced and carries herself nicely for a young horse. With conditioning and training she would have no problem with consistent engagement. Fancy is more of an uphill ride rather that being heavy on her forehand. She has a nice energetic ground covering walk, she can keep up with the big horses on the trail. Her trot is not yet of a consistent pace, however she adjusts easily within a gait. She hasn't quite learned not to change the pace unless asked, although she is very responsive to your aids. Her canter is very collected and easily asked for. Her front end is very light at the canter. She doesn't favor either lead. When set up correctly both leads are easy to get. Her canter is comfortable and rhythmical making any rider happy.

Fancy has a sensitive mouth (great in the right hands!). Her downward transitions are very easy. She is so responsive to your seat that you don't use your rein aids much. Fancy also does will in upward transitions. She is in the front of the leg more times then not. She is not goosy or jumpy with the leg aids. She is doing very well bending, reaching toward the bit, and moving off the leg. Fancy has been ridden both in English and Western saddle; however her training has strictly been English.
